At Sri Kalaivani Vidyalaya Matric Hr. Sec. School, discipline and values form the foundation of learning. Every student is expected to abide by the following rules to maintain order, respect, and harmony on campus.
1. Students must attend school in clean, neatly ironed uniforms and wear their ID card daily.
2. Fancy hairstyles, nail polish, cosmetics, or costly ornaments are not allowed.
3. Students should take pride in their appearance and represent the school with dignity.
4. Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
5. Latecomers must provide a valid reason, signed by parents.
6. A minimum of 75% attendance is required for promotion to the next class.
7. Students should submit a leave letter signed by parents whenever they are absent.
8. English must be used for communication inside the school campus to improve language skills.
9. Colloquial language, vulgar words, or disrespectful behavior are strictly prohibited.
10. Students must maintain silence and discipline during class hours, assemblies, and examinations.
11. Bullying, teasing, or misconduct of any form will result in disciplinary action.
12. Students should maintain their notebooks, diaries, and textbooks neatly.
13. Classwork and homework must be completed regularly and signed by the teacher.
16. Parents are requested not to disturb teachers during class hours.
17. For grievances or queries, parents must meet the Principal with prior permission.
18. Parents should attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) held once every term without fail.
19. Report cards and answer sheets should be checked, signed, and returned promptly.
20. Parents must encourage children to complete assignments on time and help them maintain discipline.
21. Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and unauthorized books are strictly banned.
22. Bringing sharp objects, dangerous materials, or any item that can cause harm is forbidden.
23. Students must respect teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
24. The school property must be handled with care; any damage will be recovered from the student.
25. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to ensure holistic development.
