About the School
Sri Kalaivani Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Melmayil, was established in the year 1993 with a humble beginning of just 63 students and 5 dedicated staff members. From those modest roots, the school has grown steadily into a full-fledged Matriculation Higher Secondary School, recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Over the years, it has emerged as a beacon of learning in Vellore District, shaping young minds with discipline, knowledge, and character.
The institution proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of devoted service to the cause of education. This journey of excellence has been possible because of the tireless efforts of our past leaders, including our visionary Principal Mr. George H.M. and Madam K. Thavamani, who laid the strong foundation, and Madam T. Sudha, who rendered 17 years of dedicated service that uplifted the school into a model institution. Their leadership, commitment, and sacrifices have been instrumental in upgrading the school from the primary level to Higher Secondary education.
Today, SKV Matric Hr. Sec. School stands as a private, non-residential, co-educational institution, well-known for its academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development of students. With a balanced focus on curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, the school continues to set benchmarks in quality education, preparing students to face future challenges with confidence and responsibility.
